What a productive afternoon! We provided supplies to Right Choice Housing Association for their new hostel, as well as to the Nottingham Winter Shelter, which is coordinated by Emmanuel House. A refugee family had bedding, and Christ the King Sixth Form students did a great job of reorganising all of our school uniform supplies into a detailed system. Best of all, we made a start to our task for tomorrow’s one off giant sorting event, which means we are well on the way to completing our order for packs of clothes for fifty homeless people at Christmas. Thanks to Helen Mcfarlane, Hannah Walker and Maureen Godfrey for all their hard graft working through the many mountains of clothes like the one below. But special thanks goes to all those people who go on collecting and donating clothes for us. Our achievements are actually YOUR achievements.
