Sharewear Sheffield & South Yorkshire

If your organisation referred people into our Sheffield centre in 2021, you can now arrange bulk outreach deliveries directly to your venue, enabling you to get clothing to your service users efficiently without them needing to make a journey to a Sharewear centre.

The clothing will be of the same very high standard as previously, and you can order exactly what categories and amounts you need, using our order form.

These deliveries will be made from our national processing and distribution centre in Nottingham, so we ask that you please order enough clothing for at least 20 people. If you didn’t use our service in 2021, you can still become an outreach partner, and order bulk deliveries.

As part of our committment to continue serving people in clothing poverty in Sheffield and South Yorkshire since the enforced closure of our site in the city centre, we will make these deliveries free of charge to your organisation, provided that you make the trip financially viable for us by ordering bulk quantities. We can deliver clothes for all ages, bedding, coats and shoes.

Mobile Sharewear

If you haven’t got enough storage space to take bulk outreach deliveries, another option is to arrange a Mobile Sharewear visit to your service.

This involves a Sharewear employee bringing clothing of your choice to your organisation and overseeing the distribution of it to your service users, with support from your own team members. The remaining clothing is taken back to Sharewear HQ in our van at the end of the session, solving your storage issues.

This kind of session works well at a food bank for example, where you may want to offer clothing once per month to your clients during one of your regular foodbank sessions, but without any work in collecting, processing or storing donations yourselves.

It’s a win win for both you, and them. We ask that you give lots of prior promotion to this session, to avoid our trip and manpower being wasted. We will also promote the session through our Sheffield facebook page. We would expect to distribute clothing to at least 40 people at at a Mobile Sharewear session. If numbers at your first session are low due to lack of prior promotion, we will unfortunately not be able to run subsequent sessions.
