Getting the Clothes You Need: The Referral Process Explained.

Complete a Referral Form, currently we are on form V1.4, with the person you are supporting and indicate on the form which of the following two options they have selected:

If the client is attending to choose clothing themselves- Provide them with the completed physical form allowing them to attend our open drop-in style Referral Sessions at our Clothing Centre. A physical form is preferred as the client then has the information on hand about how to find us.

If you are not seeing the client in person please provide them with all of the details and email their form to us on referrals@sharewearclothingscheme.org so we have it ahead of their visit.

Clients can use their referral form within two months of the issue date to attend, browse and select free of charge clothing for themselves and those on their form. Please note and advise your client that children under 14 are not permitted on site, including the grounds.

If your client cannot attend to self-select clothing and you will be collecting clothing on their behalf- please email the completed form, including as much detail as possible to referrals@sharewearclothingscheme.org 

Our coordinator will update you when your order is accepted and when the order is complete and ready for you to collect. They will also advise the days/times when orders can be collected from our site in Edwalton. The order is prepared as close as possible to your request depending on stock levels.

Contact any support worker that you may have, this can range from social services, food banks, pastoral care staff at a school or college, children's centres, women’s centres, or other Nottingham based charities. We have over 300 referral partners. If your support worker has not heard of Sharewear have them email us on info@sharewearclothingscheme.org to register.

Work with your support worker to complete the form, including all of your clothing needs and those of the other members of your household. Please have all of the clothing and shoe sizes to hand to provide to your support worker. Please check with your support worker that you have our latest Edwalton Referral Form with our most up to date information.

Bring the form along with you to any of our drop-in sessions at our Clothing Centre. How to Find us Information should be printed on the reverse of your form but you can also Find details regarding our location and arriving on site.
Opening Times 10.00AM-3:30PM Wednesdays only, please remember to bring sturdy bags with you.
Please note that children under 14 are not permitted on site, including the grounds. We also reserve the right to ask for photo ID.

You’re welcome to choose the clothing and footwear you need free of charge and we’ll always do our best to meet your needs with the stock we have available. Our team will be happy to assist you.

If you need ongoing support, you’re welcome to come back after three months.
