Today saw the culmination of a lot of hard work from all our volunteers. We were able to deliver 50 packs of clothes to Vicky Lott and her team at the NHS Health Shop as they gave a Christmas breakfast to their street homeless clients.  It was great for us to also be able to give large warm overcoats. Thanks once again go to all the individuals and churches who donated fleeces, socks, pants and knickers, scarves and hats; and to the staff of Rise Park Primary and Nursery School for buying gloves.  Today’s delivery would not have been possible without your donations, or without the marvellous Sharewear team of volunteers. Merry Christmas to you all! After the 25th December life on the streets goes on for the people who, together, we clothed today and these packs will keep them warm and dry throughout the winter weeks, not just at Christmas. We hope to now support the NHS Health Shop on an ongoing basis, with surplus clothes from Sharewear which their staff will be able to give out at the weekly breakfast they provide at St. Peter’s church in Nottingham city centre.
