More and more people are turning to Sharewear for help to combat the crises in their lives and create change. Today, at our main base we had eight referrals, clothing sixteen people, and responded to an emergency request from the midwives of City Hospital to clothe a baby boy born just last night. Thanks to your generosity we were also able to provide the baby with towels and bedding. Clothes and shoes for another fifty people were also delivered to our partner Asian Womens’s Project. In July alone we have clothed 224 people. But, through our partners, our clothes are now distributed to families in need 5 days per week: Mondays to Wednesdays at ‘Tommy’s’ at Thomas Helwys Baptist Church, Lenton; Tuesdays and Thursdays at Asian Women’s Project; Thursday mornings at Sharewear Sneinton, Trax Centre, Sneinton Hollows; Friday mornings at Sharewear New Basford, 50 Reigate Road. So our very busy sessions on Fridays at our base in Bestwood Park are now just a part of a full-scale city-wide operation. But without  a base none of this distribution can take place.
