“I’ve officially got a new favourite jumper” said a woman who had come to us today in need of a whole wardrobe. Once again both the psychological and physical impact of our clothing support was very clear. This jumper meant the world to the woman, but on a practical note, before she left, we heard her running through a checklist of everything she had needed when coming to us — ALL of which we had been able to provide: “Right, I’ve got pants, bras, socks, pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers, towels, bedding, a duvet, jeans, trainers, woollies, a waterproof, gloves, something smart in case I get a job interview, and a pretty jacket. Think I’ve got everything covered!”
