Many Hands Make Light Work

Another Friday, another dozen people were clothed, and another four families were helped to combat crisis! In addition to that, members came together for our first ever AGM, in which three more people became trustees and lots of plans were laid for the year to come. And, as if that wasn’t enough, the team also set up for tonight’s Cheese, Wine and Knicker Party (not too late to join us….7pm. Bring a pack of men’s pants).  A special thank you today to the four Christ the King Sixth form students who did a magnificent job with all the heavy work, turning the hall into a party venue and laying out all our goods for sale on the stalls. Don’t know what we would’ve done without your help! Thank you to Christ the King school for releasing students each week and having a truly holistic approach to the education of their young people, as well as to the student’s families who support their children in their volunteering. With their help we have clothed 104 people in November alone!
