Nottingham the poorest city in UK!

According to this report some residents of our city are the poorest people in the country. The national average income per individual householder after tax, but including benefits, is £16,034 a year. But in Nottingham it is just £10,834. This article documents details of real people’s lives in The Meadows which may shock some. But we at Sharewear Clothing Scheme are not shocked, as we see families living in these conditions on a weekly basis. Increasingly it is hardworking, underpaid families who we are helping. This article highlights the need for our service in Nottingham.
