Having not closed for the entire summer, volunteers at Sharewear have worked really hard to clothe 276 people during August; one third at our base and two thirds by delivery to other charities. Our last family for August were refugees from Syria who have been housed locally, and their daughter (pictured here) speaks perfect English. She was skipping with pure joy to have this onesie, as well as a beautiful school coat, general clothes and lovely girl’s ‘Angel’ bedding.  This is the difference your clothes donations, financial contributions and time given as volunteers make to people’s lives in Notts. Thank you, or as they say in Arabic, shukran.
