Thanks to the organisers of today’s #PovertyFreeNottingham event for giving us the chance to talk about #UKClothingPoverty, show our film Sharewear: Uncovered and share a platform with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Labour peer Ruth Lister, as well as national academic experts in poverty measurement, causes and impact. Local contributors included Louise Regan, St. Ann’s Advice Centre and FoodPrint . It’s the start of an action group to challenge the causes of poverty in our city.
